I’ve always been a fan of Everlast — the quality, the fabric, the vibe, and let’s be honest, the price tag doesn’t hurt either. I even used to sell Everlast back in my retail days, so I’ve got a bit of a soft spot (and maybe some brand loyalty that runs deeper than it should 😅).
So when I discovered that K-Mart stocks Everlast, that section became my new favourite — second only to the stationery aisle, of course (because as an artist, I just can’t walk past it without buying something).
The “Poor Person Splurge”:
One day, I decided to treat myself to a classic “tight budget treat” and grabbed a pair of Everlast sports leggings for $25.
And yep — they ticked all the boxes:
Comfortable? Absolutely.
Soft fabric? Like butter.
Pockets in the right places? Yes please.
Durable? …Well, mostly.
The Glen Rock Incident:
These babies were my pants of choice on that unforgettable (read: traumatic) trek with Old Mate Humphrey — the one that nearly broke me both physically and emotionally.
And look… they split.
Was it the leggings’ fault? Nope. That track would’ve tested a pair of Kevlar combat pants. The Glen Rock hike was no joke — so I’ll forgive Everlast on this one.
✅ Pros:
Soft, comfy, and breathable
Great fit for everyday and trail use
Handy pockets where you actually need them
Affordable AF
Found at K-Mart (dangerously convenient)
❌ Cons:
May not survive battle-level bushwalks
Not Humprey-resistant (but who is?)
💬 Verdict:
Still one of my favourite brands. I’ve already bought another pair, and probably will again. Everlast = reliable, affordable, and mostly tough enough for bush bashing.
