Mumma Dingo grabbed her boots,
Packed her bag with all the loot.
Off she went with her little one,
A hiking day of songs and fun!
Windows down, the music loud,
Disney tunes made them sing proud.
“Let it go!” they both would cry,
As the cars zoomed on the winding sky.
Into Springbrook National Park they came,
A magical forest calling their name.
Waterfalls tumbled, mist in the air,
Ferns and flowers everywhere!
First up: Twin Falls, sparkling and grand,
Rainbow Falls, Purling Brook at hand.
Trails that twist and loops that wind,
Nature’s magic, the forest kind.
Over rocks and under trees,
Dancing lightly in the breeze.
Tourists smiled and waved hello,
While they skipped through streams that flow.
But then a squish, a little scare,
A leech had climbed into her shoe to share!
Mumma Dingo pulled it free with care,
And her brave little one didn’t even stare.
Not long after, on the winding track,
A red-bellied black snake gave a little smack.
With a stick, Mumma Dingo shooed him along,
And back on the trail they sang their song.
Step by step, they climbed so high,
Past waterfalls that reached the sky.
Five hours passed, laughter and cheer,
No “are we there yet?” to hear!
Lunch was snacks in the valley green,
With the sights of a rainforest scene.
Brave little dingo, heart so bold,
A hiking hero, a story told.
At the end, they made their way back,
Mumma Dingo proud, keeping on track.
Though her little one vowed a brief hiking rest,
She’d conquered the trail and passed the test.
The takeaway, dear kids, is clear:
Adventure is magic when loved ones are near.
Bravery grows in small steps, you see,
And a hike with a mum can set your spirit free!
